Comments and Log Review:

The logs are complete since new.  This plane has been flying regularily every year.  Plane originally was in Torrance, CA from new to 1973.  From there, it was in Phoenix until the mid 90s.  From then to now it has been in the Colorado Springs, CO area.

The cosmetics are in fair to good condition.  There are a number of places where it has been touched up, and the leading edges have been repainted.  The imprefections can only be seen when you get within about five feet of the plane.  The glass is in excellent condition.  Seats and headliner also good.  Panel shows it age as you can see by the pictures.

Maintenance has been very good.  The engine overhaul was very complete with new cylinders, and overhauls of the carburetor, fuel pump, magnetos, etc.  The log entry for the overhaul is very complete and done by the Lycoming Overhaul Manual in April, 2011.   The Plane Power Alternator $1500 conversion was done in 2013.  Skytec starter.   The A.D. to inspect the spars for corrosion was done, and in 2002, the mechanic told the owner he needed to remove some corrosion and apply corrosion proofing.  The owner told him he would rather replace both L & R spars with new ones, which was done.  New inspection plates were installed to make further inspection easier.

The IFR transponder and static check is scheduled to be done this month.

48 gallons usable fuel (24/side).  Useful load 1015.  Plane is  very well rigged and flies level hands off.  A very well maintained and cared for Cherokee C 180.  Located at BJC, near Denver,  CO.
