Maintenance Highlights:
-1991: Nose gear collapse, repaired by Elliot Beechcraft. Spar web 1/2" crack stopped drilled. No movement since then. New deice boots and interior installed.
-1993: Left wing fuel cells replaced
-1996: New strip and paint by Dave Heisterkamp of Onawa, IA
-1999-2000: New fuel cells on right side
-2001: New Colemill IO-550 engines installed with new accumulators, elevator rod ends, and prop overhauls.
-2007: Century IV autopilot completely overhauled
-2013: New brake discs and pads installed. Rt alternator installed. Right engine was throwing the alternator belt fairly often. Problem was finally found to be the vibration caused by loose counter weights on the crankshaft. Engine was sent to Continental Factory Service Center (Mattituck) and torn down. Counter weights were replaced and engine was reassembled according to the Continental Overhaul Manual. However, it was not signed off as a complete overhaul, but it was very close to a complete overhaul. -2014 November: Annual completed using Mike Busch's Consulting Company's services. Very complete annual. Compressions: Left: 68..70..72..66..68..68 the right engine was: 66..68..68..70..68..72. Neither engine leaks any oil or fuel.
-Note: Oxygen bottle is due for a hydrostatic check in June of 2015, and the heater is due for pressure test in 95 heater hobbs hrs, or October, 2015; whichever first.
