Comments:

This Baron was sold new to a German individual.  It was in Germany until it came back here in 1994.  In Germany, they follow the strict recommendations by the factory, which includes every 15 years replacing all the cables, pulleys, and other hardware.  This is very expensive, so many planes come back to the U.S. before the 15 years has expired.  From 1994 to 2013, the plane has been based in Charlotte, NC.

There have been two prop strikes.  One 550 hours ago, the other 100 hours ago.  Both instances involved taxing into an object.  The one a 100 hours ago on the right engine involved hitting an orange rubber cone.   This right engine was torn down, inspected, both the cam and crankshaft were sent in for recertification, and all the cylinders overhauled.  Total cost of the engine work was $17,600.  The work that was done was nearly a complete overhaul.

The right prop was taken off and inspected.  As it turns out, the striking of an orange rubber cone caused no damage.  The prop was inspected, cleaned, filed and painted and put back on by a certified prop shop.

Both engines run very well with very little oil consumption, no leaks or blow by, and high compressions.

Wing spar inspections have all been without a flaw.  Next inspection due in 400 hours.
All four fuel bladders and hoses replaced in 2006.

PRICE - $210,000
